Italian Pot Roast
A few weeks ago my overprotect and I attended a cooking testimony by our local celebrity Italian chef, the winning Biba Caggiano. We Sacramentans are proud tonickname Biba our own; she has a fabulous restaurant, is the founder of several cookbooks, and for a while hosted her own cooking entertainment on the Discovery Channel. You can see her in exertion, here with Martha Stewart. One of the recipes Biba demonstrated during our evening with her was her «Stracotto di Manzo alla Fiorentina» or «The Braised Beef of Florence». Biba, in her commondown-to-earth protocol called it «nothing more than a phoney pot roast». It’s anaked and delicious recipe, much like our precept pot roast but with a soffrittocoarse, the addition of tomatoes, and a entire bottle of wine.
